2022 Nissan Altima Overview

What's New For 2022?

Only a few changes with options are found with the new 2022 Nissan Altima. Our flagship sedan finally gets the new Midnight Edition package for its SR trim level, which adds all kinds of darkened exterior accents and trimming, making your Altima really pop. Additionally, heated exterior mirrors with LED turn signals are now available through the SV Premium package.

Performance and Technology

Two engines give you a couple different setups. Daily commuters will do well with the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which offers a cool 188-horsepower performance with up to 39 mpg on the highway. That engine level also allows you to add all-wheel drive if you'd like. For more power, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder tops out at 248 horsepower, while still delivering 34 mpg on the highway.

As expected out of any new Nissan found here in Sterling, the 2022 Altima is loaded with smart technology. You'll start off with a touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, with smartphone integration apps offered in the SV trim. You'll also have a full suite of standard driver aids, with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and driver attention warning, while you can add extra safety features to the base level through an option package.
